Pool Rules
- The pool is for the use of WRA members and their guests only. All members and guests must present valid pass to lifeguard staff upon entrance. Woodfield or Hunter's Pointe residents who have not paid their dues in full will not be permitted as guests of other members.
- Admittance to the pool area will be by authorized WRA identification cards only. Cards must be presented upon entering the pool area.
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Babysitters must be at least 15 years of age.
- Pool hours are from 10:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. daily. No swimming is permitted at any other time.
- Glass containers of any kind are prohibited in the pool area.
- Pool furniture must not be removed from the pool area. Parents are asked to urge children to courteously offer their chair when all chairs are occupied and an adult member arrives.
- No pets are allowed within 30 feet of the pool area.
- Bikes, skateboards, roller skates etc. are not permitted in the pool area.
- Only approved flotation safety devices that are fastened to a person are permitted in the pool. No rubber rafts, air mattresses or other flotation devices are permitted in the pool.
- Smoking is not permitted in the pool area. All cigarette butts must be deposited in the containers provided outside the pool gate before entering the pool area.
- All trash and cigarette butts must be deposited in the containers provided.
- Cut-off jeans and other street attire are not to be worn in the pool.
- Running, pushing, rough horseplay etc. are prohibited in the pool area.
- Courteous and saftey-minded procedures are to be followed while using the diving board.
- The standard Board of Health rules will be followed concerning any infectious skin abrasions or rashes.
- Radios are permitted but we ask that you keep the noise level down. Courtesy is a must.
- No group swimming lessons or instructions shall be given except by the guards. Individual one-on-one instruction is permitted.
- Small children who have not passed the swim test given by the guards will not be allowed to jump from the diving board, with or without wearing a flotation device, even if there is a person in the water to catch the child.
- The parent or guardian of small children is requested to not allow them to roam or swim unsupervised.
- Profanity, improper behavior, or vulgar remarks are prohibited.
- 'Adult swim' will be called once each hour for 15 minutes. Only people 18 (eighteen) years of age or older are allowed in the pool during adult swim.
- Children that are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.
- Diving is permitted only in water more than 5 feet deep. No diving in shallow water!
- Violation of the rules will result in the loss of the membership card for an appropriate period of time. Chronic offenders will have their pool privileges revoked for the remainder of the season.
POOL BASKETBALL HOOP RULES
- No hanging from the rim or dunking.
- No roughhousing while playing with the hoop
- It is at the lifeguards discretion to close the hoop if there are too many residents in the pool for swimmers to safely play basketball.
1-FOOT POOL RULES
- Children using the 1-FOOT pool must be restricted to pre-schoolers.
- An adult must be in the baby pool area with the child at all times.
- No disposable diapers are allowed in the water.
- No food is allowed in the water.
TENNIS COURT RULES
- The tennis courts are for the use of WRA members and their guests only. Guests must be accompanied by the member. Non-member residents of Woodfield or Hunter's Pointe will not be permitted as guests.
- Members must have their WRA identification with them while using the courts.
- Overnight guests will be permitted to use the tennis courts without the member only during non-primetime hours.
- Adults have court priority after 5:00 P.M. weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday. These hours are referred to as "PRIME TIME". During prime time children must courteously give up the court when adult members arrive.
- Appropriate tennis shoes must be worn by all players. Hard sole shoes are not permitted. The use of regulation tennis wear is encouraged.
- Sign-up sheets are available in the metal box at the south end of the courts. Each household may sign up for court time a maximum of 24 hours in advance and for only one hour per day when the courts are busy.
- Pets, bikes, skateboards, roller skates etc. are not allowed on the tennis courts. Parents are urged to make this clear to the children. Offenders are subject to revocation of pool and tennis privileges and may be assessed costs of repairs.
- Tennis lessons may not be given unless both courts are not in use except as an organized WRA activity.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No food is permitted on the courts.
- Traditional tennis etiquette is expected of all participants.
CLUBHOUSE USE RULES
Members in good standing are permitted to rent the clubhouse for parties or personal use lasting no later than 1:00A.M. A non-refundable fee of $40 is charged which does not include cleaning. A security deposit of $50 to cover damage or cleaning required. In addition, extreme damage or cleaning required beyond the security deposit will be assessed to the renting member. Any infraction of the rules or disregard of items on the checklist may result in all or partial forfeiture of the security deposit. A checklist will be provided to the reserving member. Confirmation of reservation is dependent upon receipt of both the rental charge and the security deposit which are due 2 weeks prior to the event. A CLUBHOUSE RESERVATION FORM must be signed prior to receiving a key to the clubhouse. Call Amy Francis at 234-9015 for details about renting the clubhouse.- RESIDENT RESERVING CLUBHOUSE MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT.
- NO MEMBER MAY RESERVE THE CLUBHOUSE FOR NON-RESIDENT USE
- YOU MAY NOT TAPE, THUMBTACK OR ATTACH IN ANY WAY, DECORATIONS TO THE WALLS OR CEILING.
- Community functions/events will not require a rental charge or deposit fee.
- The member reserving the clubhouse is responsible for the behavior of all guests. This is a residential community and boisterous behavior during or when leaving the party should be curtailed. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR!
- Loud music or noise is not allowed after 11:00 P.M.
- Scheduling Committee representatives and Trustees retain the right to be admitted to the clubhouse during any function to ensure proper protection of the facility.
- POOL and TENNIS courts cannot be reserved. Guests may use both subject to normal pool and tennis court rules.
- The clubhouse may be reserved for use by any paid-up adult member.
- If an adult member wishes to have a party for people younger than 21 years of age, that member must be present at all times and be responsible for for all activities.
- Reserving member must supply plastic trash bags for for disposal of trash and must clean up after the event.
- Beer Kegs: In summer are kept on the concrete deck. In the winter, placed in a tub with a waterproof mat under the tub on the vinyl portion of the floor. NEVER PLACED ON THE CARPET!!
- The clubhouse may not be rented for money-making activities.
- No sale of alcoholic beverages of any kind is allowed.
- No persons may remain in the clubhouse all night.
- If alcoholic beverages are served or consumed during your reservation you are responsible for the actions of all guests during or after leaving the affair. The WRA or its Trustees cannot be held liable for such behaviors.
