POOLS
n
Pool
hours are from
n
The
pool is for the use of WRA members and their guests only. All members and guests must present
valid pass to lifeguard staff upon entrance.
n
Admittance
to the pool area will be by authorized WRA identification cards only.
Cards must be presented upon entering the pool area. Babysitters must be
at least 13 years of age.
n
Children
under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times except for
members aged 9-12 who have passed the swim test. Members aged 12-16 are
limited to three guests per visit twice a week. Children under 12 may not
bring guests unless they are accompanied by an adult.
n
Glass
containers of any kind are prohibited in the pool area.
n
Pool
furniture must not be removed from the pool area. Parents are asked to
urge children to courteously offer their chair when all chairs are occupied and
an adult member arrives.
n
No
pets are allowed within 30 feet of the pool area.
n
Bikes,
skateboards, roller skates etc. are not permitted in the pool area.
n
Only
approved flotation safety devices that are fastened to a person are permitted
in the pool. No rubber rafts, air mattresses or other flotation devices
are permitted in the pool.
n
All
trash and cigarette butts must be deposited in the containers provided.
n
Cut-off
jeans and other street attire are not to be worn in the pool.
n
Running,
pushing, rough horseplay etc. are prohibited in the pool area.
n
Courteous
and saftey-minded procedures are to be followed while
using the diving board.
n
The
standard Board of Health rules will be followed concerning any infectious skin
abrasions or rashes.
n
Radios
are permitted but we ask that you keep the noise level down. Courtesy is
a must.
n
No
group swimming lessons or instructions shall be given except by the
guards. Individual one-on-one instruction is permitted.
n
Violation
of the rules will result in the loss of the membership card for an appropriate
period of time. Chronic offenders will have their pool privileges revoked
for the remainder of the season.
n
Small
children who have not passed the swim test given by the guards will not be
allowed to jump from the diving board, with or without wearing a flotation
device, even if there is a person in the water to catch the child.
n
The
parent or guardian of small children is requested to not allow them to
roam or swim unsupervised
1-FOOT POOL RULES
n
Children
using the 1-FOOT pool must be restricted to pre-schoolers.
n
An
adult must be in the baby pool area with the child at all times.
n
No
disposable diapers are allowed in the water.
n
No
food is allowed in the water.
TENNIS COURT RULES
n
The
tennis courts are for the use of WRA members and their guests only.
Guests must be accompanied by the member. Non-member residents of
Woodfield or Hunter's Pointe will not be permitted as guests.
n
Members
must have their WRA identification with them while using the courts.
n
Overnight
guests will be permitted to use the tennis courts without the member only
during non-primetime hours.
n
Adults
have court priority after
n
Appropriate
tennis shoes must be worn by all players. Hard sole shoes are not
permitted. The use of regulation tennis wear is encouraged.
n
Sign-up
sheets are available in the metal box at the south end of the courts.
Each household may sign up for court time a maximum of 24 hours in advance and
for only one hour per day when the courts are busy.
n
Pets,
bikes, skateboards, roller skates etc. are not allowed on the tennis
courts. Parents are urged to make this clear to the children.
Offenders are subject to revocation of pool and tennis privileges and may be
assessed costs of repairs.
n
Tennis
lessons may not be given unless both courts are not in use except as an
organized WRA activity.
n
Children
under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
n
No
food is permitted on the courts.
n
Traditional
tennis etiquette is expected of all participants
CLUBHOUSE USE RULES
Members in
good standing are permitted to rent the clubhouse for parties or personal use
lasting no later than
n
RESIDENT
RESERVING CLUBHOUSE MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT.
n
NO
MEMBER MAY RESERVE THE CLUBHOUSE FOR NON-RESIDENT USE
n
YOU
MAY NOT TAPE, THUMBTACK OR ATTACH IN ANY WAY, DECORATIONS TO THE
WALLS OR CEILING.
n
Community
functions/events will not require a rental charge or deposit fee.
n
The
member reserving the clubhouse is responsible for the behavior of all
guests. This is a residential community and boisterous behavior during or
when leaving the party should be curtailed. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR!
n
Loud
music or noise is not allowed after
n
Scheduling
Committee representatives and Trustees retain the right to be admitted to the
clubhouse during any function to ensure proper protection of the facility.
n
POOL
and TENNIS courts cannot be reserved. Guests may use both subject to normal
pool and tennis court rules.
n
The
clubhouse may be reserved for use by any paid-up adult member.
n
If
an adult member wishes to have a party for people younger than 21 years of age,
that member must be present at all times and be responsible for for all activities.
n
Reserving
member must supply plastic trash bags for for
disposal of trash and must clean up after the event.
n
Beer
Kegs: In summer are kept on the concrete deck. In the winter,
placed in a tub with a waterproof mat under the tub on the vinyl portion of the
floor. NEVER PLACED ON THE CARPET!!
n
The
clubhouse may not be rented for money-making activities.
n
No
sale of alcoholic beverages of any kind is allowed.
n
No
persons may remain in the clubhouse all night.
n
If
alcoholic beverages are served or consumed during your reservation you are
responsible for the actions of all guests during or after leaving the
affair. The WRA or its Trustees cannot be held liable for such behaviors.
